Following the dissemination of the draft of the 2025–2029 Strategic Plan (Renstra) of Politeknik Statistika STIS to lecturers and academic staff in March, the management has now extended the outreach to students. This event took place in the Auditorium after a joint sports activity, aiming to share the draft plan and gather input from one of the most vital parts of Politeknik Statistika STIS—the students.

In her presentation, the Director of Politeknik Statistika STIS, Erni Tri Astuti, emphasized that every organization must have a strategic plan that focuses on the results it aims to achieve within the next 1 to 5 years. This has consistently been implemented at Politeknik Statistika STIS by referring to the Strategic Plan developed by Statistics Indonesia (BPS), the supervising institution. In its effort to become a superior and world-class higher education institution, Politeknik Statistika STIS presented its Vision, Mission, Targets, and Strategies for the 2025–2029 period to the students.

The vision and mission serve as fundamental foundations for any institution, including universities. A vision describes the ideal future an institution aspires to achieve, while a mission outlines the concrete steps taken to realize that vision. For students, understanding the institution’s vision and mission not only helps align their personal goals with those of the institution but also provides motivation to contribute to building a better future.

Students play a crucial role in realizing the university's vision and mission. With their enthusiasm and innovative ideas, students can become agents of change that drive the institution toward achieving its goals.

The dissemination of the 2025–2029 Strategic Plan draft of Politeknik Statistika STIS to students is a vital step in building a well-aligned and cohesive academic community. By understanding and internalizing the institution’s vision, mission, targets, and strategies, students will not only have a clear guide for their academic journey but will also be motivated to actively contribute to achieving institutional objectives.
