63rd Graduation Ceremony of Politeknik Statistika STIS

On Saturday (September 13), the 63rd Graduation Ceremony of Politeknik Statistika STIS was held for the DIV Program Class of XXVIII and the DIII Program Class of LXVI. In this ceremony, the Head of Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Dr. Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, M.Eng, Ph.D., officially conferred degrees upon 531 graduates, consisting of 97 graduates from the DIII Statistics Program, 228 graduates from the DIV Statistical Computing Program, and 208 graduates from the DIV Statistics Program.
The Director of Politeknik Statistika STIS, Dr. Erni Tri Astuti, M. Math., delivered a report on the evaluation of learning outcomes for final-year students. In her report, she presented the achievements of the graduates along with the names of this year's top graduates from the three study programs. The best graduate from the Diploma III Statistics Program was Ni Made Widya Paramita with a GPA of 3.94. From the Applied Bachelor in Statistical Computing Program, the top graduate was Muhammad Sulthan Hafiz with a GPA of 3.95. The best graduate from the Applied Bachelor in Statistics Program was Ni Putu Lidya Pramesty with a GPA of 3.95. The award for Best Student Character Index (IPKM) was given to Sultan Hadi Prabowo.

In addition, a congratulatory speech was delivered by the Head of BPS. In her address, she proudly congratulated the graduates who had completed their studies at Politeknik Statistika STIS and expressed gratitude to the parents who continuously supported their children throughout their studies. She also conveyed messages encouraging the graduates to be ready to face the professional world, serve the nation, and be assigned to various regions across the archipelago.
Also in attendance was the Deputy for Macro Planning Development, representing the Minister of National Development Planning (Head of Bappenas), who delivered a scientific oration. In the oration, the importance of digital skills and data literacy for statisticians was emphasized, as well as the need to transform and adapt to technology in order to improve productivity.
At this graduation, the Head and Deputy Head of BPS presented a song that further stirred the emotions of the graduates. In addition, there was also a musical performance from the graduates. The auditorium was not only filled with attendees, but also with a wide range of emotions in the air. Joy, gratitude, and heartfelt tears were shared by the graduates, parents, and invited guests.
The graduates have gone through a long journey and completed their struggle. Their best efforts have been made, accompanied by prayers continuously offered. Now, a new chapter of their journey is about to begin. May it always be smooth, and may many more lessons be gained along the way.
