To conclude its 60th Anniversary celebrations, the Politeknik Statistika (Polstat) STIS held the Closing Ceremony for the 60th Anniversary of Polsat STIS in the Auditorium on Friday, October 26, 2018. With the theme "Synergy in Togetherness," the event presented various performances showcasing cultural diversity in a spirit of togetherness.

In her remarks, Dr. Erni Tri Astuti, Director of Polstat STIS, stated that turning sixty is middle age. At that age, much needs to be done, as we will face increasingly difficult challenges. The anniversary also serves as a momentum for improvement so that we remain focused on achieving our goals. Meanwhile, according to Mr. Kecuk, the nickname of the Head of BPS RI, the anniversary should be used as a time for self-reflection on our achievements and contributions to the world of statistics. Statisticians must be able to present statistics with a friendlier face, making them engaging and easy to understand. The anniversary also served as a platform for students to showcase their talents in the arts and culture, garnering appreciation from attendees. A striking feature of this year's anniversary celebrations, unlike previous years, was the merging of lecturers and staff from the Polstat STIS , as well as BPS RI leaders, with students in a parade of regional associations. The parade created a sense of camaraderie across generations.
