The 2020 Population Census (SP2020) socialization for students, lecturers, and educational staff (tendik) was held at the Auditorium of Polstat STIS on February 13-14, 2020, with a lively presentation. This event was a collaboration between the Jakarta Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS) and Polstat STIS in preparation for one of BPS's major events.

Participants on the first day were first- and fourth-year students. The event began at 4:20 PM WIB, with the Head of BPS DKI Jakarta Province, Buyung Airlangga, M.Bus., as the speaker, and moderated by Agung Priyo Utomo, S.Si., MT. With the theme "Towards One Population Data for a Progressive Indonesia," the SP2020 is expected to result in data alignment between BPS and other ministries and agencies. This is one effort to determine effective government policies for the nation's progress.

On the second day, a socialization session was held for first- and third-year students, as well as lecturers and staff. The speaker was Suryana, SST, M.Si., Head of the Social Statistics Division of the Jakarta Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS). He emphasized the importance of students' role as census agents. Students are expected to help disseminate information about the population census, particularly the 2020 Online Population Census, which will be held from February 15 to March 31, 2020. Moderated by Dr. I Made Arcana, the event was very lively. The speakers appreciated the many critical questions from the students and their enthusiasm for the 2020 Census.

Not to be missed, all participants enthusiastically sang the song "Mencatat Indonesia" (Catalat Indonesia). The song, composed by musician Eross Chandra (Sheila on 7), is the theme song for the 2020 Census. The socialization session concluded with a question-and-answer session and a flash mob.
